It’s me again!
Thanks again for reading! Means the world to me to be able to share my thoughts and pictures with you!
This time it will be short. But I promised myself to keep this consistent so here it goes.
I have always traveled and in general just gone everywhere with 2 cameras - my digital and a small point and shoot analogue one. I don’t always shoot but pretty much always used to have it ‘just in case’.
Back in February, 2023 I lost my ‘baby’ samsung slim zoom 145s. I had it for a couple of years. Funny thing is that my dad found this camera in the bin of his apartment building. I put in a battery and it worked perfectly. I mainly shoot black and white when it comes to analogue but lately I have been testing color too. So will share a bit of both!
I am still not entirely sure but thinking that my camera actually got stolen. It was during carnival in Olinda, Pernambuco, Brazil. A friend of mine offered to carry it for me (in my small patagonia waist bag). It was hanging tight around his body facing his back and under the shirt. Yet when I was about to take it to shoot a few moments all of a sudden it wasn’t there. The bag was open and the camera was gone. To my own surprise I was not as bummed about it as I had expected. I somehow accepted this loss right away. I was really happy that just a few hours prior I finished shooting one roll and had taken it out. SO I lost only around 10 photos from the roll that was left in the camera. Pretty sad about those but nothing you can do about it hey. It’s part of life. We sometimes loose things that we are attached to but we have to keep on living.
Here are some of the last photos that I took with it:
Hope you enjoyed these! Please do get in touch if you wanna see more!
Lots of love,
